Commitment: ~10 hours per week (U.S. based remote)

What You’ll Do
As an Education Volunteer, you will support ACDC’s administrative and creative aid to ACDC's Education Department to help deliver accessible, community-driven educational programs without financial barriers.
The Volunteer will support one or more focus areas depending on their background and interest:
Instructional Design Focus
Assist in drafting and organizing curriculum materials for high school and college pathway programs to support student success.
Help compile and organize learner feedback and course data to assist the department in enhancing learning outcomes.
Help research academic and career trends (such as STEM pr pre-med pathways) and create internal reference materials for the team.
Help draft engaging learning resources, assessments, and educational content under the guidance of the Education Director.
Counseling & Mentoring Focus
Workshop Planning Support - Assist in the administrative planning of wellness-focused workshops, community sessions, and student activities.
Resource Development - Help draft non-clinical support materials related to life skills, resilience, and community development.
Team Collaboration - Provide administrative support to the Education Director and mentor teams to ensure program continuity.
Guidance Support - Assist in the organization of non-clinical guidance pathways and help the team understand community intake needs.
Psychology Focus
Help draft psychology-related workshop modules and informational resources for community education.
Assist in gathering information on mental health trends, careers, and real-world applications for internal reference.
Help research and suggest educational case studies or activities that connect theory to practice for workshop participants.
Assist in reviewing learner feedback to help the department refine the clarity of educational materials.
What We Look For
You may be a great fit to support this mission if you have interest or experience in one or more of the following:
Assisting with education, curriculum design, or instructional development projects.
Supporting initiatives related to psychology, mental health, counseling, or emotional wellness.
Engaging in community support, mentoring, or group facilitation activities.
Assisting with workshop design, student support, youth programming.
Applying analytical and organizational skills to help maintain program integrity.
Comfort providing support using tools like Excel, Google Forms, or similar platforms.
A commitment to being detail-oriented and a willingness to collaborate and engage with team feedback
A strong passion for supporting students and enhancing community wellness through dedicated service.
